最近才開始接觸的一款手機遊戲APP：Ingress，是由Google旗下的Niantic Labs所開發的，玩家透過行動裝置的GPS定位，再結合Google Mpas，因此，平常的生活環境就是Ingress的遊戲場景！Ingress可以說是一款將虛擬情境融入真實環境的遊戲，玩家規模與場景範圍遍及全球，如此宏觀的格局與創新的玩法，讓小弟也燃起熱血，立馬投入了Ingress的戰局！

以上是從Ingress on the App Store on iTunes摘錄下來的Ingress的遊戲簡介。簡介裡提及的神秘能量名叫Exotic Matter，而世界上有兩股勢力對Exotic Matter抱持不同的看法，因此，玩家開始遊玩Ingress前，必須先選邊站：
1. Enlightened：啟蒙者(綠色陣營)
Enlightened試圖接納Exotic Matter的能量，認為是對人類的恩賜，使人類文明找到另一個出口、成就更進化的未來！
2. Resistance：抵抗軍(藍色陣營)
Resistance則主張反對使用Exotic Matter能量，希望保守的使用人類僅存的資源、更擔心被能量奴役後人性的變化。
Ingress的玩家被稱為特工(Agent)，遊戲的目的是爭奪門泉(Portal)，門泉通常是在真實環境中的一些景點地標，例如：雕像、裝置藝術、公共設施、廟宇…等，搶下門泉後，可以將兩個門泉進行連結(Link)，如果將三個門泉彼此連結起來，所產生的三角形面積內就是控制場(Control Field)，控制場可以讓玩家的陣營獲得Mind Unit，面積愈大的控制場就包含了愈多的Mind Unit！
