記得小時候英文老師都會要求我們利用一本小手冊，紀錄我們背過的英文單字；很多英語雜誌也有附上當期的英文單字卡，讓讀者可以隨身攜帶這些單字卡，以方便讀者隨時可以拿出來背背單字。如下圖所示，過去… 我歷經的隨身帶著一堆單字卡的年代。
而現在… 在這個偉大的 Web 2.0 的年代，連背單字用的單字卡也升級了。

Quizlet： 這個網站建立的宗旨就是為了讓使用者可以用更方便且更有趣的方式，來完成背單字這個艱鉅的任務。除了讓使用者在線上進行建立屬於自己的單字集合之外，也將 Web 2.0 的精神 — 無私、分享 — 發揮得淋漓盡致。使用者可以尋找其他單字集合，將之併入自己的單字集合中，也可以以參與群組的方式加入進行共用與共享。
這個網站最吸引小弟的地方是，我可以搜尋看看是否有其他人已經建立了 TOEFL 或 TOEIC 的單字集合。然後，我可以將我有興趣的集合蒐藏起來，或是將它和其他集合合併起來，然後….. 還是要花時間去背單字才有用。@_@ 科科
